Under the motto "Donations instead of gifts", HANSA‑FLEX has dispensed with Christmas presents for customers and suppliers for several years. Instead, it supports charitable organisations around the world. The common goal: to sustainably improve the living conditions of local people.
On the occasion of the 60th jubilee of HANSA‑FLEX this year's Christmas donation, originally amounting to 40,000 euros, went to the charitable foundation "Solidarity Ukraine".
The aim of the newly established foundation is to promote the reconstruction of Ukraine. The focus is on projects that specifically support the reconstruction of the social infrastructure. "Especially as a family business, we know that educational and health facilities are indispensable for a future worth living for families. We all hope that the war in Ukraine will end soon so that we can help with concrete measures on the ground," explains Alina Armerding, who is involved in the foundation as a board member.
