How does the new file management feature work?
With file management, users can save and organise files directly in X-CODE Manager and share them with others as needed. This feature facilitates structured filing and quick access to relevant documents.
The maximum file size is 50 MB per file.
The data is stored in the SAP Cloud. Data storage is based in the EU and complies with applicable data protection regulations.
Files can be organised efficiently using:
- an integrated search function
- sorting options by column (e.g. name, type, machine affiliation, date)
No, offline access is not yet possible. An active internet connection is required.
Currently, files are not linked to individual users. There are no individual access restrictions; access is granted via general access to the application.
Yes, other users with access to the application can access and download files. The files are visible and usable within the shared access.
